openSUSE Live USB on Public Computer

GNU/Linux is amazing, you can bring an OS in your pocket. In this case i’m put openSUSE 11.2 to Vico’s USB flash disk (UFD), with SanDisk brand, which tiny physical size but habing large space, approximately 4GB. Actually i do not have UFD, so it’s my first experience to make GNU/Linux live USB, please be understand it because i am just a newbie wannabe :”>.

Manage Your Bandwidth with Squid’s Delay Pools

Membuat Router dengan Ubuntu Server

Iseng-iseng kemarin dulu setelah membeli komputer saya berniat untuk membuat Gateway Server di warnet saya. Sebelum memaparkan langkah – langkah saya dalam membuat router menggunakan Ubuntu Server, ada baiknya kalau kita mengetahui terlebih dahulu istilah dari router itu sendiri.

Menurut Tante WIKI, router adalah sebuah alat jaringan komputer yang mengirimkan paket data melalui sebuah jaringan atau Internet menuju tujuannya, melalui sebuah proses yang dikenal sebagai routing. Proses routing terjadi pada lapisan 3 (Lapisan jaringan seperti Internet Protocol) dari stack protokol tujuh-lapis OSI.
